FAA Human Factors
Introduction
Many models are being used today to simplify the human mind and its interactions with the environment; such as James Reasons (1990) ‘Swiss Cheese Model’.
The one used by the Federal Aviation Authority in order to educate individuals about the interactions between humans and machines is David Meister's (1971) model.
It is an easy to follow flowchart that shows the interactions between humans and technology in any given environment.
