United States Air Force (USAF) CT-43 - Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT)

Synopsis

On 3 April 1996, a USAF CT-43A, callsign IFO-21, was en-route to Dubrovnik Airport carrying government officials and influential businessmen. The aircraft crashed into a mountain near the airport while flying in IMC. The controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) accident left no survivors.
