Introduction

TAM Airlines Flight 3054 was a runway overrun accident which occurred on 17 July, 2007, at Congonhas Airport [CHG], Brazil. A full analysis of the accident can be found here.

Video footage of Flight 3054

The following video is a comparison of Flight 3054 with another normal landing by an A320. The footage is taken from several cameras positioned at different locations at CHG and looking in different directions. It clearly shows the high speed of Flight 3054 as it thunders down runway 35L.
